The original physical art has value. Anyone can take a picture of it and sell a million postcards.

I don’t think it lowers credibility. I think it’s valuable. But what do I know?

Probably more, since what happens to the reputation of an artist who creates and promotes an NFT series that turns into a rugpull, or simply goes to zero, leaving the apparent owners with nothing but a JPEG, a receipt, and bad feelings?
