I think snort is using the get_balance rpc drafted in the alby repo which I haven't implemented so a zero balance would be expected. Have you tried zapping anyone to if that goes through?

I did try; but I get an infinite spinner and nothing in the console - or my CLN logs.

Could you give another client a try? I've just moved and actually don't have a node up myself (still waiting for it to sync) so my own testing is limted. There is a git branch `debug` that has a few more logging points that could tell us something.
