Because they got sucked into a marketing campaign that makes them feel special and like the rest of the world is a forgotten apocalyptic wasteland of disconnected technologies, and they feel like they have to bow down and take it to have nice toys. The amount of very smart people I see who are either afraid to or unwilling to learn to use something that's not even difficult because it involves effort astounds me. It's mass Stockholm Syndrome.

The worst thing is, it's overpriced . This is why I don't buy brand name clothing either. MORE SATS!? I THIBK YES!
