Judging from my feeds, it seems Twitter is picking up again.

I think breaking news is a big factor. When something big happens, people drop everything and race to the platform with the most signal.

This is Twitter’s biggest benefit IMO, and it will be a long time before Nostr disrupts real-time news consumption, which is the key to mass adoption.
