Fighting for the true nature of Bitcoin (electronic money and store of value) and for its privacy CTV is very different from wasting time trying to make Bitcoin a repository for monkey photos.

That's my argument: obviously, we have to fight for the truth; if you sit idly by, the other side wins.

My thesis is that the state's attack consists of wasting our time arguing about photos of monkeys. My solution is that we maintain the filters we already have and don't make any additional effort, just use knots and move forward with the activation of CTV.

Knots needs more devs, more eyes on the code. Then I am on board. Glad that we have options other than core, which currently still is the most secure option to run

Core is not secure

But probably more secure than knots. Which will change once knots gets more users

It depends on what you mean by secure. No bugs affecting security have been discovered in knots yet... Do you think there aren't people reviewing the knots code waiting to find a serious bug and say, "I told you so"?

If you consider an implementation that wants to change the ultimate meaning and purpose of Bitcoin to be safe... I don't see it as very safe.

Fair point, thats what pisses me off to about core.
