Thought about this a bit recently.
The "str" suffix on hashtags has been a fun meme in the early days, but would it/should it be phased out?
It is getting a little annoying/messy to include two hashtags on posts, one with the str and one without for relevant keywords. And I feel like once adoption takes off, people aren't going to be using these meme-ified versions of hashtags, so it may not be worth it to stuff those in there now if they'll eventually go obsolete anyways.
Perhaps some exceptions should be made for classics like #tunestr, but that's up for debate.
What do y'all think, agree/disagree? #AskNostr
