And no, it's the farthest thing from "simple math". It’s all dynamic variables. You've got shifting motivations, shifting rewards, shifting costs, shifting mechanisms, shifting code, shifting hardware. This kind of "simple math" argument is ultimately nonsensical because it assumes every variable apart from the 2 or 3 in the "simple math" equation is static. Which is never true. (And usually the ones in the equation itself are not even static either.)
