the recent spat of zero day exploits made me a lockdown mode adopter. It took a bit to get used to the limitations. Browsing and messaging isn’t as useful, and it feels a bit like a pre 2018 phone experience.

Along the way it’s been eye opening to see what features of a phone are particularly compromising. Turns out most of a browser should be enjoyed from within a virtual machine.

A few weeks in and I’m used to it. It’s like walking the stairs next to an escalator. It’s a bit more taxing but, turns out, that’s the entire point.
