I have to vent a fundamental frustration with my current nostr setup in the hope of finding some help...😜
I'm running Amethyst connected to Minibits via NWC.
Why is it that ***more than half the time*** when I try to ZAP someone, the zap fails?🤔🧐😮😳
Back in the day when I was using Wallet of Satoshi, zaps were seamless and seemed to work all the time...
Anyone have any insights?🤔🧐
Can anyone suggest a good combination of client and wallet that works every time?🫂😄💖
I experienced the same issue, I supposed the problem was related to the availability of the wallet when it is in background, but also switching between the two apps while the zap runs, to keep both in foreground, doesn't help very much.
Now I'm testing cashu.me and it seems sligtly better.
Probably wallet of satoshi is totally server side.
I'm guilty of mostly just using primal to avoid this sort of thing. I'll be interested in what solution you find.

I'm running Primal connected to my start9 server running LND and Alby Hub. I'm rather new and primitive when it comes to lightning, and I'll likely ditch Alby at some point, but every zap I've made from the start has gone through instantly.
I've had Alby say my hub is down at times, and I've had a couple people try to zap me but couldn't. So I can't speak for the receiving side yet, but sending has worked every time.
