curious what you’ve learned
So far its nothing fancy just what I use for my SDR at home. Its just a simple rabbit ear antena that I have mounted on my roof.
I'm still kind of researching but Im debating getting a specific 915mhz antenna to also mount up there for a more permanent solution. I figure Id use one device for a permanent home node and then another device for an on the go node.
As far as range goes on the antenna that you get with the T-ECO, its kinda shit. But about 20 min after hooking it into my rooftop antena ive seen 6 nodes.
I still havent tried driving/biking around town with the smaller antena attached to see if I can find anything.....one of the 6 nodes is brodcasting its location and its in a public park....might start there and see if I can find said node.

Seems like it. As long as you have decent placment plus TX power people have gotten some seroius range. Not sure what setup set the record but iirc it was sevral hundred miles at least.
