Started the year with cleaning the streets, the drains and big dirt-dumps around, with an army of kids, back home. Since we don’t have the luxury of municipal cleaning at the village, atm. Some by-passers said; wait for the rain, it will wash these plastics and stuff away 😅.

Two takeaways:

1- Many people in the developed world take many things for granted, while it’s a LUXURY in big part of the world. E.g., 24/7 full-voltage electricity, nice infrastructure, general peace, municipal services etc.

2- Nothing is given in return of nothing, everything is rather built with great effort - the things mentioned under point 1, for example.
