What the hell is wrong with me? I'm falling down in my shoe regime this is not like me! Normally look spiffy like the old Army days. I used to win awards for having the best boots in the unit.

Hmm, that knot in the lace. Just learned something. 🙏
Especially with the shorter laces of the oxfords they get off kilter easily and it drives me nuts when one side is longer than the other. So as long as it's in the middle my laces will be the same length. Boots it's not as big an issue. Though in the military we did it so you knew to rotate your boots every day to help dry them out and make them last longer.
