I'm very curious as to why you say this. I'm mostly curious about what you consider proper OPSEC for BTC that improves over what I would consider a much more private from the ground up coin in XMR.

The OPSEC is not for the currency you use. It's for the activity you're taking apart in. The currency is just one part.

Yes, I get that. But one of the checklist items surely is that XMR > BTC for privacy.

The currency you use is irrelevant to an individual's privacy if OPSEC is done correctly. That's my whole point.
