It does a singular thing, which is bring the signal protocol to text-only messages over Nostr. Group chats are fairly broken and nonfunctional. Direct messages eventually get through.

It's a paper boat next to supertankers, but at least it floats.

I'm really not sold on using the "signal protocol" via nostr. This is just more evidence to firm up that conviction.

Yeah, who knows if it is as advertised on the backend. You could audit the codebase, but the `.cursor/rules` directory I saw when I opened the repo doesn't give me much peace of mind.
