I know I should know this, buttt are there any self-custody Lightning wallets out there that support lightning addresses?

Zeus does if you set up a ZeusPay address.
you run your own node? then lots
you don't? then zeus as the only app for now afaik, unless mutiny is apping also?
https://npub.cash/ minibits is also a great Cashu app on android that generates an address
Still Apple :/
how does it compare to zeus? is it quicker? do you have to constantly open to redeem zaps? does it act like a ln node aka needs to open to synch up? the app load quickly/quicker then zeus? how are the fees?
It’s a very different approach based on Cashu(custodial ecash tokens). Upside near perfect privacy and zero fees if remaining in ecash. They can receive lightning zaps while you’re offline then you can redeem and withdraw at normal-ish lightning fees when you come online. Still beta, but an extremely exciting option to explore. Ideal for small amounts as a trade off to custodial risk(which is only temporary if you withdraw when you come online).
so privacy you say.. my interest is peaked
does it have the 'if not redeemed within 24h it will be returned' policy too like zeus?
also possibility for NWC, or not?
I’m not aware of any time limit. Good to treat as somewhat temporary because they occasionally have to upgrade the Cashu ecash mint and since it’s essentially perfectly private they have no way of contacting users - though they try to post to Nostr/social media to give sufficient heads up. I’d follow Calle and gandlaf21 for more
Phoenix can send to LN address but does not support receive.
