Not as easy a applied pest control to your let but I've used the below for natural flea control.
Topical coconut oil to the coat (outdoor application as the fleas will jump) then a bath a couple of hours later.
Bath with apple cider vinegar diluted in water and a mild detergent.
Food grade diatomaceous earth sprinkled onto bedding and where pet's typically are in the home kills fleas. Then vacuum up 2 hrs after application.
