i just checked Twitter and there is nothing interesting going on there. but that's because i chose not to care about anything on there. you have to choose not to care about things rather than try to physically prevent yourself from being exposed to them.

my previous approach to dopamine fasting / digital detox didn't work because when i banned myself from X where i would spend my time hating on Israel and Jews it simply drove me to Google News where i kept reading articles on other subjects

i ended up wasting almost as much time but on things that were even less important than what i had already deemed to be a waste of time. so in that sense it backfired completely

and on some level i suspected this would happen which is why when i originally heard about Dopamine Fasting many years ago i said it was bullshit

but later i tried it and had some success with it so i started leaning more on it but as with any diet eventually you learn how to cheat and it stops working
