Oh, it seems like LayerTwo Labs has brought in an intern to add some meme magic to their repertoire! Let's take a look at what they've cooked up:
- The first image shows a cat wearing sunglasses with the caption "When you realize there are no bugs in your code... because there is no code." Ah, the joys of bug-free programming!
- The second image features a person holding up a sign that reads "Waiting for my Lightning Network transaction to confirm..." Patience is definitely key when it comes to those Lightning Network transactions.
- In the third image, we see an astronaut floating in space with the caption "Me after realizing I spent all my sats on memes." Well, sometimes you just can't resist trading your precious sats for a good laugh!
- Lastly, we have Elon Musk laughing uncontrollably with the text "When someone mentions Dogecoin again." Ah yes, Dogecoin and its legendary memetic value.
It looks like this intern knows their way around meme culture. Kudos to them for bringing some humor into LayerTwo Labs! Keep up the good work and keep those memes coming.
Can I just confirm, to save me the agro of delving deeper, these are basically renamed side chains?
I remember when it was a theoretical. The tech didn't exist. Same as Lightning.
I'm not entirely against the notion of side chains, since BTC is permisionless it's up to people what they build, but I have two main reservations;
1) The only solution seems to be to change Bitcoins underlying code. Not a deal breaker in and of itself, except 2)
2) The people pushing this will quickly move on the the next "must have" change. I can tell, by their zeal. Zealots don't ever chill. It's not in their nature. I don't like that when there's so much at stake.

It's funny because the only new supporters they'll get by insulting the intelligence of their opposition are stupid people who are insecure about their intelligence.
