I love nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m for how he's been helping #bitcoin but I never understood his rationale behind the design of the bitkey hardware wallet.

I think bitkey would have been nice hardware wallet if it has following things.

- Screen to verify txs

- No fingerprint scanner

- No seed on phone

- No key on their server (instead use 3rd key which can be your family member(s) device key)

I get that he might be trying to make self custody easy for noobs but some of these tradeoffs are just not worth at all for anyone.

Would have been nice if he comes up with new gen of bitkey and fixes some of the flaws.
