After a very quick initial sync to 60% IBD on my node has slowed to a painful crawl. It’s been nearly a month and I’m only at 78%. less than 1% a day. Everytime I check it, it shows 0 connected peers, once in a very great while I’ll catch it showing 1-2. I’m thinking that is the issue but I don’t know how to increase peer connections. 2 days ago I tried manually adding a node… didn’t seem to work.

I’m running umbrel on a raspberry pi5, 8gb ram, 2tb ssd for storage/OS

Any recommendations on speeding it up? Connecting with more peers?

More reliable know peers will for sure help with the speed. I think you might have problem with the Tor and I2P connections.

Disable them? Or is there a setting that needs tweaking?

My experience with with those connections is still far too low for give meaningful configurations.

If disable them is a viable option for you, i suggest you to try. Your peers count should get higher (i assume by default those was active for privacy)
