damus #notedeck is my little citadel in cyber space:

- completely decentralized, no indexer needed for it to function or to improve UX

- works on all platforms, even mobile

- fastest app I have even written

- supports micro apps in a scalable way (can have hundreds with very little overhead)

- multicast wifi note sending the first steps in p2p connectivity

- a way to publish to users with an appstore telling me I can't do something

- offline first

- not web based, written in rust and C

- an embedded relay as fast or faster than strfry

- NWC wallet in the chrome so apps don't have to write a wallet

- multi-account in the chrome so apps don't have to deal with account switching

- signing in the chrome so you don't have to worry about every micro app stealing your key

- an ai agent that can use the embedded relay to find notes, summarize threads

- an obsidian-like nostr note taking app for rendering nostr notes in a 2d plane and sharing with others (soon)

- a widget toolkit so new notedeck apps can re-use existing note renderers.

still lots of improvements to make for even more decentralization:

- outbox (easy with local relay model)

- blossom (+hls?) uploads

- bittorrent integration?

- bluetooth/mesh + more p2p transport

- dynamically loadable wasm apps (just go to https://mynostrapp.com to load a notedeck app like a web browser)

- negentropy note backup between devices via bluetooth or local wifi multicast

notedeck apps I want to build:

- slack/discord-like app

- nip17 and/or whitenoise dm app

- issue trackers, git/etc

- calendars/events

- communities

I finally have a place to build the other stuff I've always wanted without duplicating all the work or using the web.

we're coming for ya legacy platforms...

Ok, let's see if I can reply from notedeck 0.4 on windoze. It's still very very incomplete form user point of view.

It seems to be working :).

0.4 is pretty old. We need to push a new binary

That would be great!
