Just built a little air quality alert tool.
You pick a location, get daily forecast or an alert if the forecast will go above a threshold you set.
It currently sends text and email alerts.
Would anyone want me to add Nostr DMs as a delivery mechanism for their use?

i'm mostly just skeptical of DMs at this point, especially automated ones. but air quality is regional, so i could subscribe to a bot in my area.

That way any future alerts could publish there too. I’ve been thinking of adding weather and ux index as well so people can plan runs or activities with their kids.
a personal npub seems like too much, but also wouldn't be that much different than a shared regional one. i guess it depends on how much engagement there is with the system at large.
and aqicn.org is surely logging my IP address and telemetry...
