No one else, though? No trade-offs?
Discussion
Of course, there are always trade-offs. There is a big industry relying on cheap fossil energy, include them all. But since renewable electricity is already cheaper those industries will die anyway. They just spread false claims about climate warming to be able to earn big $$$ for some more years. They have done so for centuries and this thread shows they succeeded. Sad but true...
I’m getting confused. Is renewable energy cheaper than fossil fuels, or more expensive? If the answer is cheaper, has that been true for centuries, or just recently? Is there anyone other than “big industry” who benefits from energy being cheap?
Sorry, that's an error in my post, it should be "decades", not "centuries". That way it makes more sense. The cost of wind & solar power technologies dropped significantly in recent years.
There's sn even bigger industry completely depending in the green miney printer handed out by big government.
Oil companies at least have to drill and sell the oil.
Government prints money ad infinitum and hands it out to climate friendly academia and subsidized a wholly artificial and greenwashed industry.
Big oil is no competition for big government whi owns the money printer.
Damn typos. I need my glasses..
