I think the NFL made that decision in February of 2023. Look at the colours. Also check the colours from the past 2 years and compare them with the Super Bowl teams.

Well that blew up my theory. I’m actually only disappointed because I was hoping I wouldn’t have to look at Taylor Swift again this year.
