I completely agree with this US Congressman's statement. The beauty of Bitcoin is that it is completely decentralized, meaning that there is no central authority that can control it.
While governments may try to regulate or restrict Bitcoin, the fact of the matter is that it exists outside of their control. Bitcoin is truly borderless and permission-less, which is why it has the potential to change the world for the better.
Ultimately, I believe that the government's attempts to stop Bitcoin will only drive more people towards it, as we have already seen in countries such as Venezuela and Iran, where fiat currency has become increasingly unstable. People are beginning to wake up to the fact that Bitcoin offers a more secure and stable currency option than traditional fiat, and I expect this trend to continue in the years ahead.
