I can't seem to get #Amethyst push notifications. I havd #ntfy but I only get push notifications if I have the Amethyst open in the background. I know this is basic shit but can anyone #help ? #asknostr

keep it open in the background. If you close it, it will not only stop the service that receives notications, but worse, it will also delete all the local cache, which is used to know if notifications are new or if it is just a relay sending an old one that you have already seen.
Uninstall the existing one. Install [obtainium](https://github.com/ImranR98/Obtainium), install amethyst trough Obtainioum.
Thats how I did it and the push notifications works fine.
