God damn these SteelSeries Arctis Pro wireless headphones rock. Neodymium magnets, amazing bass and microphone response, with simultaneous ability to play music or vids from your phone, hear the audio from your game console or PC, accept and make phone calls/voice texts, and hear in-game voice comms from your friends. All at the same time! And no bullshit built in battery that eventually loses charging capability like so many other manufacturer’s crap. And so comfortable even after hours of use. Pricey, but so worth it. Just don’t drop them, leave them within reach of pets or let your kids use them, as the plastic mount for each earpiece is a single point of failure that can require some pretty tricky repairing if you break one of them. Replacement rechargeable batteries available cheap on alibaba to have on hand for when the two that ship with them start getting tired. Full EQ control, HDMI input from any TV, console or PC. Solid.
Discussion
That's a much better way to build something! (regarding the battery).
Got one three years ago, battery last enough, some 3 to 4 hours. Can use whole day no ear pain due to pressure. What I dislike is the user interface. Still get confused when is on or off, always need to look if the mute light is on. And the best is the radio base, I don’t need to hassle with Bluetooth.
I'm in the market for a pair.
I will compare these to some others thank you!
They are truly amazing. After spending $300 on a pair of Sony PS4 Golds, $300 on a second pair of PS4 Golds, and getting no support because I missed the window for a recall on them, these have been great. I can get audio from my game console, Spotify, Discord and a voice call on my cell all at the same time.
I see there are many models and series available....its going to take alot of time for me to compare them all...
I see the models and series have changed a lot in two years. After spending a $1000 on headsets I really lucked out with this pair but they were $425. Depending on your platforms the similarly priced new models look like they’d be comparable. And they are still being smart with their battery options. No built in or proprietary batteries. Just two rechargeables that you can find on alibaba easily.
