That's ideally what they're promising, but they can't actually give you a relationship. In reality, all they can give you are "matches". What they need however is "engagement", so even if they could give you that outcome, the most successful version of the app would have less users which is bad for business.

Add on the asymmetrical behavioral incentives for men and women and the fact that what you can put on your profile has at most a minimal effect on what actually determines compatibility.
