It’s like how the non tech guys that pivot into tech would always parrot “oh tech is always changing, can’t keep up!” But in reality it’s foundationally the same. It’s all 1s and 0s. It’s all servers and databases. Even if the marketing gurus make it seem otherwise. But if you don’t fundamentally understand what you’re talking about, you will fall for these things.

With teaching anything, it’s important to first lay down the foundation first and then build from there. You can’t start as if they are all experts and aware of the minutiae details , it would only confuse them and it would be off putting.
