I predict zaps will incentives more courteous behavior. I’ve been on the wrong side of a few debates, which on Twitter would have often times resulted in the other party dissing me or shouting me down etc, but instead when they have taken the time to be informative and actually show me my errors I have zapped them for it.

Another example where I’ve seen the incentives is when I’ve asked questions of the community. When folks have taken the time to give me solid answers. I’ve zapped them for it.

I wasn’t sure I saw much incentive around zapping at first, but in just a few short days I’ve gotten it.
