Had to get my head out of the chaos.

My soul hasn't really had a canvas to work with over the past year. It's been wild.

Today I took my head out of it and laid out a foundation that I've been humming in my head and piecing together visually as I traversed the chaos in my personal life, while working within a chaotic circus we call our broader context.

My recording equipment is packed up for my move abroad. This off the cuff Raw rendition simply added to the melancholic undertones of the track itself. The grainy cell phone audio recording brought back such strong and vivid memories of when I first learned that I had some innate connection to stringed instruments. You can put any stringed instrument in front of me, and I would be laying something out for you within 10 minutes. In my head as I listen the layers are already formulated, I kept it raw and organic for now as I'm not unpacking my recording studio.

It's good to not forget to let your soul breathe every now and then. With whatever snorkel you have.

Here it is, first recording. Off the cuff. Might make this a habit.
