I've only been around since December 2017. I call myself toxic maxi but I'm a newcomer compared to those who came before and laid the groundwork through the early years to get Bitcoin where it is today. All this current shit would be nothing without the decades of development and then the constant monitoring and tweeking of the underlying protocol, the tools, wallets, exchanges, and UI that drew in people like you and I. We are standing on the shoulders of giants. This is changing the World. It is truly exceptional to be around in these early days. Stack harder and be grateful every day to those that fought to keep Bitcoin alive. We are winning 🔥

good take. The giants needed us too, though. Many of them are gone for various reasons and needed us to pick up the banner after thr block-size war. Bitcoin could have died then, but enough of us rejected b-cash and became hardened in our resolve through the 2018-2020 bear market and the 2021 winter. I'm glad to be a part of the story.
Historically speaking, all first decade adopters will be viewed as the monetary visionaries/pioneers.
