I just found this molar in my yard while planting, a place where people have grown vegetables for hundreds of years. Any idea wether it might have been a human #[0] ?

Just keep digging for the rest of it.

Human tooth 🦷 you just found Jimmy Hoffa

Jimmy's still alive and well 110yo. He just went somewhere nobody knew him.

teeth decompose / are eaten fairly quickly in topsoil. my guess is from a wild animal. would depend on where you live to id further!

Last year I remodeled the dirt, so I don't know what depth it came from, might have been a few feet.

what are you growing btw?? anything exciting?

I started growing first time last year. I had herbs like thymes, basil, persil, chives, all great, and all but the basil lasted through harsh alpine winter. Lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, zucchinis, pumpkins. Lettuce and pumpkins were great, the rest was horrible.

So this year I'm applying the pareto principle, 80% greatness for 20% of the work. I've got lettuce and pumpkins for the win. And I added more herbs, got the finest big bushy rosemary from Catalan.

Looks like a canine puppy molar. Definitely not human.

🤙 thanks

I still have some of my wisdom teeth, this one looks like what they pulled out of my lower jaw the 3-8 or the 4-8. Maybe I'm part canine too 😉 . But maybe I just have prehistoric dental properties, because I had six wisdom teeth. Like spares, in case I ever ran out 😂
