Americans still don't understand that the rest of the world has financed their way of life and that through the dollar they have imported both their debt and the inflation they have created to pay this debt out of thin air.

Why do you think that in Europe or Japan we had 1000cc cars and in the USA we had 8000cc cars? Or houses that a European or Japanese would never dream of in life? It is not because you are more hardworking, it is because you have literally exploited the rest of the world for your benefit, not least thanks to your huge army.

I agree, we have benefited massively from exporting dollars.

However I do think Americans set the standard for hard work(at least in the West)

And we have a wealth of natural resources that Europe doesn't have.

And yet they appear to think the world is taking from them

Tbf I think only the boomers have houses in the U.S. because they bought one back in the 70s after a long hard working summer of mowing lawns.
