that's sad.. did you figure out why?

The error was that the SSD enclosure was giving errors with Start9 so it could not initialize. Another person posted the same on their GitHub but the answer was "we don't support DIY installs". Since everything works flawless with Umbrel I just went back to it.

weird SSD enclosure is just a standard SATA (m.2 or 2.5 inch) or NVMe interface. did you check with the compatibility of SSD?

Since it works perfect with Umbrel I just went back to that and didn't investigate more.
