Definitely made improvements in the 2 year that I've been a paying user. Sounds like I really need to try out Joplin though.

Unfortunately, no note app has ever been good enough for me. Tested them all.

Why is that ? Did you use Obsidian also ?

I could come up with a list of shortcomings for any. Mainly data preservation, retention and UI. As for obsidian, It’s great but has downside being not open source and electron based… Joplin and bitwarden are electron based too.
