I’d say the progressive caucus would basically assert this. Not as concerned about supply inflation and the deficit and if the choice was to stay within budget or print, they (and of course the right) print.

It’s probably a practical strategy about what can get passed vs a core belief. Outside of dc any leftist would likely support jobs programs, tax breaks, UBI, community programs etc
