Speaking to a musician friend yesterday and he was telling me musicians are being asked to do bar shifts in order to play at Glastonbury.

Not only do you not get paid but now it’s work to play.

Next year best pack a big brush in yer guitar case…

Why a big brush when you could pack a big baseball bat?

I am a pretty non-violent guy, but drop a deal like that in my face and I will probably no longer be myself.

I think they’ll still be a ton of young musicians yet to be hip to exploitation who will take up the offer. It’s very sad.

So the idea is to get ā€˜celebrities’ behind the bar to sell more drinks? Or do they just want free labour?

Free labour! Come and do two jobs for free for ā€˜exposure’

Hey your music career might not take off but you could be spotted by a pub owner!

Please share your friendā€˜s music so something good comes out of this disgusting topic šŸ™šŸ»

da fuck?

Mad is t it. No idea what a ticket costs these days but it certainly isn’t cheap.

Like they said (originally in reference to Richard Branson when he ripped off loads of Jamaican artists) never trust a hippie.

Yep I hear they have to pay to play these days. Wtf. Looks like Glastonbury will eat itself.
