The end user mainly cares about the functionality, not what is powering it, so nostr could deliver smart contract functionality to the end user by referencing on chain commitments in event tags, and it will at least be as secure at tether
These commitments could live on bitcoin or liquid etc.
In this way nostr could be used to deliver a whole manner of smart contract functionality to an existing user base.
is this already being done? i would love to see nostr and liquid mingle more as a content creator.

I dont think it's being done yet. Some are against it. But it will happen everntually.
