AI is incredibly accurate at guessing the location of random photos, even if they haven't been published online. The AI program, called PIGEON, was able to accurately place photos within a few miles of their actual location. However, it did make a few mistakes, linking one photo to a completely different location and mistaking a photo of the Snake River Canyon for the Kawarau Gorge.
