Anyone have any experiences driving a while on a donut? I know they recommend no more then 50-70 miles, but really? Has to last longer than that as long as PSI is in range right ?

Lol got a flat today, don’t think I can make it to the mechanic anytime soon, just for context lmao

🤣🤣

Thank you for the context ✌️

Lmao def helps

Lol.. I know people who have gone much farther. I’ve even seen cars with multiple donuts.

Lol ya I feel like I’ve seen it too, but I don’t wanna be the car that causes a pileup cuz the wheel falls off 😂 😂

Keep an eye on the tread thickness and pressure, and you should be ok until you can get a replacement. I wouldn’t attempt a cross-country. 🤣

Lmao maybe I’ll just take it to the Grand Canyon and dump the car as well, but no seriously I just need it to get back and forth from work for acouple days , prob 50 miles a day

I’m trying to remember my dads old advice (was a ASE mechanic, i’m not… lol) but i think the speed recommendation was much more important than the mileage.

Oh yea I’m def taking that recommendation more serious lol, idk if I become the person I hate

Lol. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Only a few days right?

Yea I’m hoping I can leave work early on Wednesday and make it to a shop before they close , also might drop off the tire if they’re open before work to see if they can patch it but highly unlikely as it doesn’t seem to be a nail or anything. Btw you zap is much appreciated friend 🙏🏽

If it’s not in the sidewall there’s a good chance.

NP man, we gotta stick together 💪

Only time will tell.

And yes, always helping people In need, it’s the nostr way! 💪🏽 🙏🏽
