Gen Xers love pretending they’re the cool, laid back party folk their heroes were 30 years ago while bitching that kids now are stoned out of their minds and lazy as shit.

These guys are clients often enough, and I have to listen to them bemoan the downfall of customer service, quality, and utility on every consumer front while bragging about how they spent THEIR youth getting blazed and being lazy. They even do weed today now that it’s so widely available, but because they’re high up on the managerial/biz food chain nobody holds them accountable.
