Grinding some wheat berries into flour today. I dont do alot of baking, but i used up the flour i had last week, for some cookies i made for the family gathering. My Vitamix works great for grinding wheat berries into flour, and i've even used it to grind corn into cornmeal. It's a workhorse, and I love it. #grownostr #cooking #Vitamix #homemade

Is that just a blender? You put whole wheat berries in and let it go? My wife is interested in trying to add some home ground to the next loaf we bake.

Yes, but its a Vitamix brand blender. Vitamix blenders are more powerful and heavy duty than the average blender. I have used it for grinding wheat berries and whole corn for years now, with no issues. And of course it can be used as just a regular blender too. I like that it is multi purpose, rather than having a dedicated grain mill.
