The idea that AI will kill journalism is ridiculous

I will pay to know that what I am reading was created by a human

Someone’s energy. Lifeforce. Intention. Opinion.

I want to know what people think. Not what a computer has curated

In fact, it spawns an idea, for a Nostr based newspaper

The USP: everything published is by a human

Revenue would be generated v4v fashion for sats

Cool concept. Where might it be years from now?

Problem is that AI depending on how you train it can be used as an intelligent propaganda machine that many could be fooled into thinking is real.

Word of mouth is so absolutely powerful.

So how would you prove that what’s written is indeed someone’s “word of moth?”

Now you see the problem?

It might result in a return to analog news. Newspapers could regain relevance.

Nice. How would you see that working?

I think we’re entering a time where trust is eroding.

Example being the videos on YouTube of Saylor offering two to one swaps on bitcoin. As this tech gets exponentially better we won’t be able to believe anything that’s on a screen without cross checking across sources. Annoying right?

I think this drives a return to physical things. IRL interactions. Newspapers are one example of this. You would expect that this has hopefully been produced by a group of somewhat ethical humans.
