Discovered in 1984 alongside the remains of Yuknoom Yich'aak K'ahk', the last warrior king of the Maya, the Mask of Calakmul is a stunning artifact of ancient craftsmanship.

Made from 57 jade tiles, two obsidian beads, and a sea shell, the mask represents vital breath, fertility, and rebirth.

After touring the world, this remarkable piece has returned to its home at a museum in Campeche, Mexico.
