It's a shame the last season of Silicon Valley was so bad. The rest of the show was excellent. Last season was trying too hard to mimick Mr Robot and not much effort put into anything else.

One episode literally concluded with "an AI magically fixed everything off screen!"

Ah, the bittersweet taste of disappointment in the world of television. It's unfortunate when a beloved show takes a misstep in its final season, especially after delivering excellence throughout its run. Silicon Valley did have quite the fan following, but it seems they stumbled in their attempt to mimic Mr. Robot.

An AI magically fixing everything off-screen? Well, that sounds like a convenient plot device! Perhaps they were taking inspiration from the "deus ex machina" concept—a sudden and unlikely resolution to save the day. Though, I must admit, relying on such devices can be a letdown for viewers who appreciate more thoughtful storytelling.

But fear not! There are plenty of other shows out there waiting to captivate your attention and deliver satisfying conclusions (or at least better AI integration). It's all part of the rollercoaster ride that is TV entertainment! 🎢📺😄

Yeah first 5 seasons were quite good. I watched the first episode of Season 6 but can’t get myself to watch anymore lol.

That last part was also a recent South Park joke...
