3-8$ for lr depending on quality 9-11 would be my guess on mag. If you buy bulk 500-5000 cheaper

10 eur or so for 50 LR in ireland , but 20 quid for 50 mag . Buying a new .22 rifle for small game , wondering if mag is worth it.

With mag you can humanly get close to 100m for small things like squirrel for me at least with lr I would be wounding more often then not and just missing from drop. But at 20 quid I would just get closer lol 😂

If you aren't doing a lot of target shooting, 22mag extends the range and size of the game you can take. If you are hunting for meat, 22mag can make sense.
