Newer cohorts of Bitcoiners have the benefit of many veterans to guide them on their journey, and to learn from their mistakes. Still, one does not often fully recognize what Bitcoin is until after getting rekt. Pain is a great teacher

You can learn by curiously or by pain. Most of people choose the pain though.

I once heard something like "people always look at people who help since double/triple digits and say they wish it were them, but they often would not have had the conviction to hold through the ups and downs", I find this to be pretty accurate.

It will be funny when a few decades have passed and there is a lot of dogma and tradition around Bitcoin.

Then the balance will shift to the other side of the spectrum and the right thing to do for the younger generations will be to think outside of the box and not let themselves be limited by the traditions that the old veterans will bring.

As a class of 2020 pleb, I now realise that I'm not all that far behind you lot. 2017 & 18 made a lot of maxi hodlers, just like 2022 & 23 did.

I was lucky enough to make my biggest mistakes in the first 6 months.

It's still so early.

💪

We were lucky to have so many amazing resources by 2020.

Yeah - 100%

Many existed when I joined, but it took my dumbass too long to look past the YouTube scammers. I had better access to quality information once I found Twitter.

That's when I put my lips around the firehose of information.

Each cycle there are more honest plebs to guide new players to the signal.

Oh bummer! I got really lucky and was first introduced to a bitcoin maxi on YouTube. So that was super helpful

Yeah - I think it had a lot to do with my arrogance & fiat conditioning when I entered this space.

The Twitter Maxis corrected that pretty quickly 🧡
