So what browser is everyone using this month?

I'm currently using Vivaldi because I think it has the best tab grouping functions of any browser out there. I've been kind of debating switching over to Floorp again for a little while because it's Firefox based and has work station like tab groupings. And I kind of refuse to use Brave. Are there any new browsers out there? Also kind of debating setting up on Googled Chromium again, but again that's kind of a setup process to get things just right.

I just use brave. But people seemed to like the mullvad browser.

mullvad is simple and that suits me

I’ve really enjoyed Arc.

I like how they’ve constructed profiles that can be siloed. I like their split screens. I like being able to almost full screen websites really easily. I like a lot of the little ux things they’ve thought through. Their mobile browser onboarding is so good.

I’m also a huge fan of using Perplexity in Arc. So much use haha.

It does take a lot of cpu like chrome which sucks, and there are some small cache/background refresh bugs that are annoying.

I've actually not heard of Arc. I will take a look at that.

Cool! Hope you like it!

Arc had a major vuln that scared me off it forever. Non-interactive remote code execution on any Arc users browser because of a firebase misconfiguration

Oh snap. Good to know.

Oh yikes 👀

always LibreWolf

+1 Floorp.

Can't ever bring myself to agree with the anti-Brave crowd. I use Brave for ~90% of browsing. Hardened Firefox for compartmentalizing the few big tech services I still use. Vivaldi for dedicated PWAs and for the rare occasions that I need to use a Youtube account. LibreWolf for anything miscellaneous (downloading ROMs for emulation, for one example), as I don't have any cookies or bookmarks stored in it so it's safer against session hijacking.

I've also used Mullvad Browser for random, miscellaneous stuff but I generally prefer LibreWolf for that task. I also do use Tor Browser but only via Whonix now, mostly because I'm a geek and I rarely need Tor in my threat model anyways.

Chromium

Vanadium on my Graphene phone

What's wrong with Brave?

Also Vivaldi reminds me of Baldi's Basics, I can't handle that 😂

qutebrowser

Alright, that's recommendation number two for that browser. I'm gonna have to check it out.
