Re-reading the way I wrote the definition, and turns out you are correct.

I said “Orangewashing is to attempt to…” which is a verb definition.

Had I said “Orangewashing is the attempt of…” then it would have been a noun definition.

It can be used either way, but the way I wrote the definition is as a verb. Good. At g
